A Guide to Difficult Conversations

This interactive session will start by exploring common language mistakes we all use when talking to patients. We will discuss an approach to breaking bad news and review a recent article on various techniques used while having difficult conversations and their efficacy.

There will be opportunities for discussion about difficult questions and how to approach them, as well as successful questions and when to ask them.
