DESCRIPTION:  \n\nThe Global Wave of Light is an annual event that honours and remembers babies who have died during pregnancy\, childbirth\, or infancy. It serves as a worldwide moment of reflection for families and individuals who have endured the loss of a child. Participants from around the globe light candles\, creating a unified wave of light that symbolizes love\, support\, and remembrance for these precious lives. This observance offers an opportunity to provide comfort\, raise awareness about pregnancy and infant loss\, and break the silence surrounding this deeply personal and emotional journey.\n\n\n\nWe hope you can join us on Tuesday\, October 15th\, as we gather at the Bracebridge United Church for an evening of reflection. The doors will open at 6:30 pm with the candle lighting taking place at 7:00 pm to coincide with the wave of light around the world.\n\n\n\nDate: Tuesday\, October 15th\, 2024\nTime: 6:30 PM\nLocation: Bracebridge United Church\, 46 Dominion St\, Bracebridge\nRSVP: https://bit.ly/PILO\n\n\n\nIf you are unable to join us\, we invite you to gather in your own space and take the time to light a candle (battery operated if possible) at 7:00 PM to be part of the light that will spread across the globe.
