Biographical Info

Ryan currently works as the Manager of Integrated Care in the Mamaway Wiidokdaadwin Indigenous Interprofessional Primary Care Team at the Barrie Area Native Advisory Circle where he is accountable for community health projects, community addictions supports, and primary care operations. Ryan holds a Bachelors of Health Science degree from Western University and is experienced in health promotion, health systems change management, and social determinants of health. Prior to working at Mamaway Wiidokdaadwin, Ryan worked in mental health policy across Canada with a specific focus on supporting community-based suicide prevention efforts in northern Saskatchewan and Nunavut. Ryan brings experience in the social determinants of health, community engagement, mental health care, cancer care, and health promotion. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys creative pursuits and learning about design.
