TYZE Networks

We realize that Caregiving is challenging and at times, overwhelming. Social media has the potential to connect people like never before. Programs such as “TYZE” have the potential to create “care teams” where caregiving responsibilities can be shared and communication can be improved.

TYZE networks are offered free of cost to individuals through NSMHPCN.  Also, if you are a health care professional interested in setting up TYZE networks for your service recipients, we would love to help support you in doing so. For more information, Contact Amy Pritzker, Community Engagement Lead, at amy@nsmhpcn.ca or (705)325-0505 ext.109.

Keep Me Home

Also, NSMHPCN offers workshops and supports about how to create and maintain care teams.  These workshops cover some of the basics of caring for a loved one at home, including how to prepare for death at home, organizing care, asking for help and some of the lesser known things about supporting people through end-of-life. If you are interested in a “Keep Me Home” workshop or training session for your organization or group, please contact Amy Pritzker, Community Engagement Lead, at amy@nsmhpcn.ca or (705)325-0505.
